Good morning, Huskies, today is Friday, September 11^th and we are on a regular schedule.

Any grade 12 student interested in being a BOND captain is asked to sign up on the sheet on Ms. Cochrane’s door, room 209.

Are you interested in the fine arts? If you have an interest in music, art, dance or drama, there is an opportunity to attend the Festival of the Arts at RNS on Oct 2. There will be an interest meeting for anyone who is interested in participating in this amazing day of workshops in Mme Ellis’ classroom (Room 207) on Monday at the beginning of lunch.

Are you curious to find out what musical we will be performing this year? Keep an eye on the Musical Reveal poster on the calendar outside of the office. Each day, new clues will be scratched off to give you a hint about what show we are doing. The video of each clue reveal will be posted on the HuskyGram, where you can submit your guesses in the comments. The first person to guess the show will win 2 free tickets to see it.

This announcement is for any grade 11 or 12 students looking to learn more about the Portfolio Development Program at the Saint John Arts Centre. Please see Miss Gresh in the Art Room (108) at lunch if you are interested in learning more about this opportunity.

Grads – You can now sign up for Grad photos to be taken by Photography Flewwelling in the office. They will be here the week of October 13^th – October 16^th. Sitting fee is $30.00 cash only, they bring gown, shirts, ties.  Anyone not wearing a shirt and tie should wear a v neck shirt if they don’t want anything to show under the gown.

Sports:

HHS Football – Reminder to be at the high school on Saturday, Sept 12th seated and ready – bus leaves at 9 am to head to the first game of the Season in Fredericton.

Reminder – Football pictures will take place on Monday, Sept 14th at 4:00pm in the gym. Even if you aren’t purchasing your photos, please go to get your picture taken for the team photo that goes into the yearbook. If you are purchasing photos payment is due at time of photos.

Any girls in grades 9-12 interested in playing basketball this year, please see Ms. Mombourquette in Rm. 208 today at break for a brief information session. Open gym practices will resume next week until mid-October before tryouts.

If anyone is SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY interested in swim team, please see Mr. Corasaniti at lunch TODAY in room 207. No Excuses!!

All field hockey players, please see Mrs. Bartlett today at break in room 205 or in the Learning Commons at lunch. It will only take a minute of your time.

Reminder to anyone interested in golf that there is a mandatory session at the golf course today at 4pm. If you have not signed up, you MUST see Mrs. Richard in room 215 today.

The varsity boys’ soccer list has been posted down by the gym.

The varsity Girl’s team list will be posted later today. An announcement will be made when it is posted. There will be a JV girls soccer try out for any grade 9 and 10’s who are NOT on the varsity team today after school until 4:45pm.
