Good morning, Huskies! Happy Halloween!! Today is Friday, October 31st and we are on a regular schedule.

All this rain, and there is nowhere to go at lunch.  We will have popcorn, candy bags and popsicles on sale at lunch in the lobby all for $1.  Come on out and support the grad class.

Last call for Grand in the Hand! Please be sure that all tickets and money have been turned into Mrs. Lamb by the end of lunch today.

There will be a recruiter from St. Thomas University at HHS on Monday, Nov 3rd during Period 1 to do a presentation and “on-the-spot” admissions. Interested students must sign up on the Guidance door.

Also, on Monday there will be a presentation from Horizon Health on a career in Radiation Oncology. This is open to students in Gr. 11 and 12 and will be during period 5. There is a sign-up sheet on the Guidance door.

On Thursday, Nov 6th a UNB recruiter will be doing Admission-on-the-spot in the Guidance Centre. Interested Gr. 12 students can sign-up on the Guidance door for an appointment. You should apply on the UNB website ahead of time, but the application fee will be waived!

Lifetouch retake orders must be in by next Wednesday, November 5th. Please be sure if your parent/guardian isn’t ordering online, and money is being brought in, to have it to us here in the office no later than Nov 5th.

Sports:

Just a reminder to fall sport athletes to return your jerseys ASAP!

There will be practice on Monday for all JV boys basketball players from 5:15-7:15.

There will be another tryout for JV girls basketball next week.  Stay tuned for announcements on which date will be decided.

The girls hockey team played their first exhibition game against Simonds last night.  They lost a close game 4-3.  Scoring for the girls were Brooklyn Boyce, Gabby Kilpatrick and Leah Cameron.
