Jan 12 Posted on January 12, 2026 Good morning, Huskies! Today is Monday, January 12th and we are on a regular schedule today. Period 1 teachers are asked to check their email for a message sent last night about the study skills Kahoot we will be doing at the start of period one as part of our Zen Week to get ready for exams. If you have any questions about the Kahoot, please send a message to Mr. McCarthy. Also, if you are looking to borrow a laptop today please come to the office, not the Learning Commons. Nature NB will be at HHS on January 22nd at 6pm-8pm. Cultivating Connections: Stories of Farmers Protecting Nature – Join them for a film screening of “Homes on the Range” and “Guardians of the Grasslands” to celebrate the crucial role farmers play in protecting nature. Free snacks and entry. More information is available in the office, with a QR code to register. This is a reminder to all Fall Sport athletes that you must return your uniform to Mrs. Richard. You will not receive your report card if it is not returned. Today we’re celebrating the outstanding contributions of our students in the classroom by celebrating the Educational Achievement Awards for the month of DECEMBER. These learners may have shown dedication, creativity, and a positive attitude that uplifts those around them and enriches our learning community. Students may display curiosity and consistent effort that have made a meaningful impact. Others might be recognized for leadership, insight, and a commitment to academic excellence! We’re proud of all our students who bring energy, kindness, and a love of learning to school each day. Well done, everyone! If you hear your name, your certificate will be given to your homeroom teacher on Tuesday, so you do NOT need to come down to the office. The winners will be read by subject area, listing the Junior winner first and the Senior winner second. Sports: Congratulations to the Sr. boys basketball team on their successful home tournament.
