Hampton High School is once again entering the University of Toronto’s National Biology Competition! In our first year, three of our students ranked in the top 50th percentile internationally—a fantastic achievement. The competition takes place in early April, and interested students will have the opportunity to join weekly practice sessions in Room 204 to build skills and confidence. Practice sessions are optional but strongly encouraged. Stay tuned for further information in the new year. Anyone interested in performing at the Variety show this Friday, please sign up with Mr. Wetmore in room 223. Today we’re celebrating the outstanding contributions of our students in the classroom by celebrating the Educational Achievement Awards for the month of NOVEMBER. These learners may have shown dedication, creativity, and a positive attitude that uplifts those around them and enriches our learning community. Students may display curiosity and consistent effort that have made a meaningful impact. Others might be recognized for leadership, insight, and a commitment to academic excellence! We’re proud of all our students who bring energy, kindness, and a love of learning to school each day. Well done, everyone! If you hear your name, your certificate will be given to your homeroom teacher on Thursday, so you do NOT need to come down to the office. The winners will be read by subject area, listing the Junior winner first and the Senior winner second.
