May 25, 2026 Posted on May 25, 2026 Good morning, Huskies! Today is Monday, May 25th and we are on a regular schedule. Tomorrow for Grads – Beach Theme Day The grad recess event during Period 3, is being moved to tomorrow at the same time. Annie Furman from the Conservation Council of New Brunswick is here today, working with 4 art classes on sustainable fashion and she will be available during lunch hour for an additional session for those that are interested. There are limited spots of this session so please arrive to the art room at the beginning of lunch to get your spot. All groups will be creating art with clothing and fabrics and learning about sustainable fashion. Any grade 11s who are helping with the grad dinner, could you please meet at the beginning of lunch in Room 215 Sports: Anyone interested in trying field hockey out are asked to see Mrs. Bartlett in room 205 today at break or during lunch. Two sessions have been arranged for interested players to give the sport a try on Tuesday, May 26th from 3:30pm-5:30pm and Tuesday, June 2nd, from 5:30pm-7:30pm. There is a waiver required to participate! Congratulations to all the athletes who competed in the Track and Field Regionals Our senior Boys provided strong performances from William Brown and Ben English in the sprints and first in class results from Denver LeBlanc who is chasing both the 1500m and 800m crown next week at provincials. Our Junior Boys, saw a solid 400m and 800m effort from rookie Brandon Brown who knocked on the door of provincial qualification in both, just missing. Emmett Power showed new range taking on the 1500m and 400m. Robbie Stevenson was best in class winning the 100m and 100m hurdles (setting a new provincial record, though wind added and not counted for the books). Sam Hall posted the top time in the 800m and also qualified for next weeks provincials in the 1500m Both of our Senior Girls advanced to Provincials. Grace Price in the 3000m and Ashley Coleman in the shot put. In the JV girls division, Maelle Summerville was a force winning the 800m, 3000m and 1500m in style – she was indeed the most dominant athlete at the meet. Maria Hiltz, in her rookie year, qualified in both of her sprints 100m and 200m as well as in the high jump. Peyton Piercy flew high in winning the high jump and qualifying for next weeks provincials in the 800m Estella English won her heat and will join her jr girl compatriots next week at provincials in the 400m. Well these girls were not done. The four of them combined to win both the 4×100 and 4×400 relay in dramatic fashion Congrats to our boys who represented our school at the Ball Hockey tournament this weekend. They won all 3 games and lost out in the semi Finals after a 4th overtime. Alex Kelly was named to the All Star team
