Victoria Day, May Two-Four, or May Run, call it what you will. It is this coming weekend. What is more exciting than a long weekend? If you’re watching the calendar, whether it’s an old-style paper version, or the digital one available on your phone, you know that there are only 31 days of class remaining until summer vacation. Count exam week and grad activities and that drops to 21. WOOO HOOO! An equally exciting event takes place in way less than 30 plus days…only 5 school days from now in fact! The final, that’s all she wrote, ultimate extravaganza! The last campus market of this academic year! This coming Wednesday, May 20th is International Pick Strawberries Day. Good luck with that during a New Brunswick May. What you can pick next Wednesday is a deal at the final campus market of the school year. The final market Hampton High takes place during Working Period and 1st half of lunch between 11:55 and 12:55. And the offerings this time around are as legendary as these announcements. Your fellow students will be offering fishing lure bracelets, pop sockets for your phone, cell phone charms and cell phone cases, hand crafted bracelets and keychains, air fresheners and fidgets and, of course, cookies and treats. So, start bugging your period 3 teacher now. Maybe they won’t take you outside on a nice day, but this is a no brainer, and no valuable class time is lost. Get them to bring you down during working period on the 20th. See you at the market! Sports: Just a reminder to all winter and spring athletes to return your jerseys to Mrs. Richard ASAP!
