March 30 Posted on March 30, 2026 Good morning, Huskies! Today is Monday, March 30th and we are on a regular schedule. Congratulations to Declan Bayer and Adam Grenon, whose impressive STEM Fair project on a water filtration and sanitization system has been selected for the NB STEM Showcase this Wednesday at the Fredericton Convention Centre. A special shoutout as well to Spencer Sharp, Jack Fry, and Bear Lunchi for the creative and thoughtful projects they developed. All of these STEM Fair students demonstrated impressive dedication, creativity, and problem-solving, while also gaining valuable experience with grant applications, budgeting, and project development both in and out of school. Please join us in congratulating Declan, Adam, Spencer, Jack, and Bear on their outstanding work, and good luck to Declan and Adam this Wednesday at the Provincial STEM Showcase! If you are interested in developing a STEM Fair project next year, please see Mrs. Chamberlain sometime this semester or in the fall. Today is easter egg hunt day. During Lunch. Come to the lobby when you find an egg, and you will get chocolate. There are 3 eggs with a special treat. Also, during lunch you can guess the candies in the jar. Tomorrow Tuesday is Floral day so wear floral clothing. Entrepreneurship Market: Let’s be honest, folks. MONDAYS STINK! The start of the week is only a necessary step to make it to the next weekend. Usually, the best thing we can say about Monday, is that, at the end of the day, we are 20% closer to the weekend. Except this week! In case you young desk jockeys have not been paying attention, this is a three-day week followed by-are you paying attention?-a five-day weekend. No classes on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. I’m tired just reading the days. To add to the obvious excitement of the week, the Entrepreneurship 110 class, your school mates and friends, will send you sailing into the extra, extra-long weekend by presenting to you the first campus market of 2026. So, those who are smart-and that’s all of you- forget the trips to Subway, Tim’s, Dairy Queen, and the Independent and check out the offerings these enterprising members of the Hampton High population have in store. April Fools Day is Wednesday. Don’t be fooled by those who will trick you off school grounds. Only a fool would miss the Market. Remember, it’s a working period schedule so save your loonies and we’ll see you at the April Fools Day Market and that’s no joke. Sports: Anyone interested in joining frisbee there will be an open scrimmage tryout for both the Varsity and JV teams will take place today, March 30 from 3:45-5:30 and Wednesday, April 1 from 3:45-5:30 both in the gym. Any girls that are interested in playing flag football that missed the meeting on Thursday, please see Mrs. Richard today in room 215. The JV boys volleyball team host FMHS tonight at 6pm and the JV girls volleyball host FMHS at 7:45. There is a mandatory girls rugby practice outside on the back field from 6pm to 8pm. Congratulations to the Hampton Bulldogs for bringing home a Provincial banner yesterday! Goals scored by Alex Barrett and the winning goal by Nate Davidson. Guidance: Are you a Grade 11 student applying to NBCC? Mrs. Hovey will be helping students apply on Wednesday during WP in the Learning Commons.
