March 26

Good morning, Huskies! Today is Thursday, March 26th and we are on a regular schedule.

The students and staff of the Hampton High School Theatre Company have been working hard all winter on the musical, “Ride the Cyclone” — its quirky, it’s funny, and it will take you on a roller coaster of emotions! Come show your support tonight, Friday, and Saturday evening. The show starts at 7pm. HHS student special!! You can buy your ticket from Mrs. Lamb during lunch this week in room 122 for only $10 cash. Tickets online or at the door are $15.

The sexual health nurse will not be here this morning, if you have any questions you can go see Mrs. Hovey in the Guidance office and she will reach out to them for advice.

Entrepreneurship Market:

Hampton High.  The wait is almost over.   It has been a long time coming. Too long in fact.  You have to cast your mind back to November of last year since one of these has happened.

Are you thinking of your excitement about having a short week next week?  No, that’s not it.  We’re not referring to three full, five-day weeks since March Break.  That has been a long grind.

This wait seems longer than Mr. Lacenaire’s daily commute.  How has he done it all these years?

The end is nigh!  That means your wait is almost over.

On Wednesday, April Fools’ first, your schoolmates in the entrepreneurship class are holding the first campus marketplace of the semester.  To make this more better, and you more smarter, it will be a Working Period Schedule Day.

Short classes, a campus market, and goods galore.  What else could you young, bright lights of the future possibly want?

So, bug your period 3 teacher-they’re tired of looking at you too-to take you to the cafeteria on the April 1st during Working Period.  If they won’t, the market runs until 12:45.

See you at the market and that’s no April Fool’s joke!

Sports:

There is a girls rugby practice in the gym from 830-9 tonight.

Congratulations to the senior girls and the senior men’s volleyball teams on winning their games Tuesday night.

Anyone interested in joining frisbee there will be an open scrimmage tryout for both the Varsity and JV teams will take place on Monday, March 30 from 3:45-5:30 and Wednesday, April 1 from 3:45-5:30 both in the gym.

Any girls who would be interested in playing flag football this spring, are asked to come to a meeting at the beginning of lunch today in room 215.
