Good morning, Huskies! Today is Tuesday, December 16th and we are on a regular schedule.

Could 3rd period teachers please send the money collected for “Toonies for Turkeys”, and any food items given as well to Ms. Cochrane in room 209 at the beginning of P1.

The Christmas Semi-Formal is happening tomorrow evening, December 17th. Tickets will be on sale at break noon in the office, today and tomorrow will be cash only. Tickets are $10

St. Paul’s church will be offering their grilled cheese tomorrow, all are welcome.

Until Dec. 18, Develop and Lead students are collecting new socks, toques, mittens, and scarves to support the Rotary Box of Socks Campaign. Please help fill the box in the learning commons with items to keep warm this winter.

Sports:

Jv boys’ basketball won an exciting game last night beating RHS 72-71. Leading scorers were Oakley Greene with 25, Kyle Steeves with 23, and Sam Hall with 9. They play 5:30 Thursday against St Stephen at home.

This past Friday and Saturday, the Varsity Girls Basketball team hosted their annual invitational tournament.

Game #1 vs Saint John High School ended in a 75-16 win for the Huskies. Leading scorers were Sarah Stolle with 15 points, Ashley Coleman with 12 points and Honour Lynch with 9 points. Park Place Homes Player of the game was Honour Lynch.

Game #2 vs Bellsisle Regional High School resulted in another win for the Huskies 82-38. Leading scorers were Brooke Mombourquette with 21 points, Sarah Stolle with 16 points and Isabella Gonzalez with 14 points. Park Place Homes Player of the game was Brooke Mombourquette.

Both wins on Friday put the Huskies into the Championship Game vs Sussex Regional High School for Game #3, on Saturday. The game resulted in a gut wrenching loss by 2 points 87-85 in double overtime (a 2.5hr game to be exact). Leading scorers were Brooke Mombourquette with a career high 34 points, Sarah Stolle and Ashley Coleman both with 13 points and Isabella Gonzalez with 12 points.

Tournament All-Star was awarded to Isabella Gonzalez. One of the Huskies incredible International Students who played her last game with the team on the weekend as she heads back home to Romania this morning.

Tonight, the Varsity Girls host their final league game of 2025 vs Simonds High School at 7:15. They will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Hampton Food Basket at the door. Come down to the gym a bit early to catch the JV Girls in action as they host Simonds High School at 5:30.

Last night, the varsity boys faced off against Rothesay high school. They started off strong, leading 11-2, but fell apart in the 3rd quarter, with a final score of 60-42. Player of the game was Kaeden Tupper with 5 points and 15 rebounds. Hustler of the game was Jack Fry with 7 points, 3 steals and 4 blocks. Next, the boys face off against St Stephen high school on Thursday. Be there.

Tomorrow, the high school boys hockey team will host St. Stephen at the Summit, make sure to show up and show your support.
