Today at lunch, Girls STEM Up will have an information booth set up in the lobby. Founded in Fredericton, Girls STEM Up empowers young women and female-identifying students who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and math. The group works to make STEM more inclusive by offering opportunities like workshops, scholarships, and mentorship connections across Atlantic Canada. Their annual conference, “The Future in Focus,” will take place on March 14th, 2026, featuring guest speakers, hands-on sessions, and networking with professionals in STEM fields. If you’re curious about STEM or want to explore future career options, stop by the Girls STEM Up booth today at lunch to learn more! Let’s help support and celebrate women in STEM! There will be a climate action team meeting today at the beginning of lunch in room 112. This will be a brief meeting to gauge interest and discuss future meeting dates.
