October 30, 2025 Posted on October 30, 2025 Good morning, Huskies! Today is Thursday, October 30th and we are on a regular schedule. Today is the last day to sell Grand in the Hand tickets. Please bring your tickets and money to your homeroom teacher. Extra tickets can be picked up from Mrs. Lamb or Ms. Cochrane. 2 more random prize draws will take place this week. The draw for the $1000 will take place on Friday afternoon. The top sellers will also be announced at this time, so sell, sell!!! The grad class will be selling popsicles and candy bags for $1 today at break. Come out and support your grad class! The sexual Health nurse will be here this morning, if you’d like to see her, text her at 506-566-2635. The Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) will be holding a meeting today at lunch in Room 205. For anyone interested in joining a DnD club, there will be a meeting in Mr. Rioux’s room 219 today at 12:30pm. There will be a recruiter from St. Thomas University at HHS on Monday, Nov 3rd during Period 1 to do a presentation and “on-the-spot” admissions. Interested students must sign up on the Guidance door. Also, on Monday there will be a presentation from Horizon Health on a career in Radiation Oncology. This is open to students in Gr. 11 and 12 and will be during period 5. There is a sign-up sheet on the Guidance door. On Thursday, Nov 6th a UNB recruiter will be doing Admission-on-the-spot in the Guidance Centre. Interested Gr. 12 students can sign-up on the Guidance door for an appointment. You should apply on the UNB website ahead of time, but the application fee will be waived! Lifetouch retake orders must be in by next Wednesday, November 5th. Please be sure if your parent/guardian isn’t ordering online, and money is being brought in, to have it to us here in the office no later than Nov 5th. All grade 10 classes are to go directly to the theatre with their homeroom teachers and sit in their classes designated area directly after the announcements, for the Presentation with Point Lepreau. Sports: Just a reminder to fall sport athletes to return your jerseys ASAP! There will be a JV Girls basketball tryout today after school until 5:30pm.
